DIY Halloween, jack-o-lantern and WIP’s
Inspired by Make and Craft’s DIY Halloween contest I decided this post should have some Halloweeny fun to it. So, you get to see a Chinese Lucky Cat Jack-o-lantern and you’ll be trick-or-treated by my knitting wip’s (I could just say you’ll see pics of my wip’s, but isn’t the thought of yarn hanging off of needles, walking around and saying “Trick or treat?” so much more fun?)
So, without further ado, here’s my lovely Kitty-o-lantern (which will be entered in Make’s jack-o-lantern contest):
I drew the pattern myself, based off a cermaic Chinese lucky cat that I have in my studio, as part of my “cats of the world” collection (which right now has kitties from Japan, China, Poland and Nicaragua). Here’s some pics of the making of Kitty-o-lantern:
And now, time for my knitting WIP’s to say “Boo!”
One Sleeve of JellyFish
And the newly cast on Branching Out

Have a splendid spooky halloween!

LOVE the pumpkin carving! It came out really well!
