When the lovely folks over at Solestruck asked me if I would like a free pair of shoes, it didn’t take me long to reply. They’ve got a pretty good selection of shoes, many at discounted prices, and they were wonderful to work with.
I’ve been longing for a pair of Danskos for awhile, so when I saw that they carried them, I knew that was what I had to get. After lots of deliberating, I decided to go with a lovely, classic wedge sandal.
Meet: Dansko Neve
These lovely little gingham and patent wedges certainly live up to Dansko’s reputation for comfort. The wedge is higher than many of my other wedge sandals (about 3 inches tall) but they’re more comfortable to wear. I love how the patent creates the illusion of a thong sandal without actually biting into your toes.
The detailing in the shape of the wedge makes it look more like a heel than many other chunkier wedge sandals. And may I say that these go with just about everything? They look hot with dark denim jeans, snazzy with capris and lovely with pretty summer dresses and skirts. And that sweet little touch of gingham is just darling. There are definitely more Danskos in my future.
Lovely shoes! The thong effect is so clever – and wedges make me think that maybe, just perhaps, spring may be coming!
