I’ve seen a lot of bloggers showing six different ways to wear one item of clothing lately, and I thought I’d join the bandwagon. However, instead of showing all six at once, I’ve decided to space out the six outfits. I’ve already shown this dress styled in a simple, chic way for work on a hot summer day. On Friday, I decided to make it a bit more casual, sporting leggings and flat sandals.

I like the simplicity of brown and blue accents here. With a dress like this, you really don’t need to add too much. This outfit let me feel comfortable and chic while going out and running errands, including a trip to Tampa’s new IKEA!

I know that I’ve said it before, but I would love to have a closet full of jersey dresses. They are by far my favorite thing to wear, being so wonderfully comfortable and flattering at the same time.

And I love, love, love how flattering leggings can be. You would think that skintight fabric would make everyone but the most stick thin women look huge, but it actually has the ability to make one look slimmer. However, my main rule about leggings still applies: they should never, ever be worn as pants. If what you are wearing is short enough for the crotch to be visible, you need a different top/dress.

I also need to get more headbands in a variety of colors. I love how they can add a simple pop to an outfit.
