I was starting to put together an Etsy love set focused on owls, but then I realized that there is such a huge abundance of owl themed items on Etsy that it would be impossible to narrow it down into just one set. So I decided to go with three. Today’s will focus solely on vintage owl brooches, which there are quite a few of. Next week will look at owl necklaces, and the week after that will be everything else.

I love brooches–I especially like the second one–but I always feel so hapless when it comes to actually wearing them. For instance, right now I have a pin my sister gave me that’s really lovely, but when I pin it to things, it tips right over–it’s too heavy and the distance back to the “pin” part is too far. Any suggestions?
